San Mateo County & San Francisco “GREEN” EATS

Please help me add to this list of San Mateo (California) County eateries that give leftovers or take-out containers that are readily recyclable i.e. paperbased or bio-compostable containers. Extra kudos* if they offer biocompostable flatware.

Better yet, if you are eating at home, refuse the flatware. If you are eating at a restaurant, consider bringing your own containers for leftovers. Remember to rinse your boxes after eating so there are no foodstains and the paper can be recycled. Drumroll, please, for:

Sam’s Chower House on the coast recycles their oil with a nearby auto shop that converts it to diesel fuel, has solar electricity and has sustainable seafood.
